Sorry about my rushed entry last night. I had about 5 minutes to write it. Of course I went back later and added the necessary image… Still digging the heck out of that movie. Can’t wait to get it on DVD…

So this morning, Parker took me to work again. Work is weird. I’m working on this big pitch project and am stressing to meet an upcoming deadline – and yet I technically still don’t have a job! It’s the weirdest thing. But I’ve been working hard and I’m getting really excited to come up with cool ideas and bounce inspiration off my brothers and other genius minds…

So my plan is (which I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it here or not), I’m flying out to New York on Wednesday for some big pitch meetings with Christian, Parker and Scott with some networks out there. We’re developing new shows (not YGG), and I’m really stoked about all of them. If something gets picked up, I’m pretty much guaranteed a job out here. It’s actually amazing and is much much closer to “what I want to do when I grow up” than working as a graphic designer or something.

After the pitches, I’m going to be taking the train back to Princeton to pick up our minivan at The Meyersons (love you guys!!) and drive it out to >John and Jaime’s place (love you guys too!!) and get all our stuff from them (clothes, toys, computer, playstation, etc.) and then DRIVE all the way back. Yep you heard me right. I’m planning a cross country trip. YIKES! I’ll just take it one mile at a time. If I can get someone to come out with me, I might even get my beetle out here too.

So it’s pretty apparent that we’re planning on staying here abit longer than we had originally intended. Are we moving back? Not officially… yet. But we are planning on staying here at least another few months… maybe? I don’t know. Marylynn and I need to make a decision. But we have some time. So… we’re still on extended vacation! WOO-HOO!!

After “work” today, Christian and I headed over to his ward’s annual beach party. That was fun. Fried Chicken, Corn, smores and rootbeer. joy. It was weird seeing the Pacific Ocean again. But it was a good time. Oh, and Christian gave me a few of his extra pairs of shoes! Now I feel slightly less like a vagabond.

As for tomorrow, I was hoping to go to Comic-Con down in San Diego, which is almost like heaven to me, but I dont’ think I will. Too much work to do! Wow! When was the last time I could say that?

I miss Marylynn and the kids terribly already. I won’t see them until after my mega road trip! YIKES! Gros Bisous!!!
