Jemma’s Invite!

Monday, July 28th, 2008

So last week I spent a whole lot of time designing the wedding invitation for my sister Emma and her fiancé, Jed (hence, “Jemma”). I think it turned out rather nice. The idea was to do something like an old pioneer journal, since their names are quite 1800′s. It’s an 8-page booklet. I think it’s neat, and Jed says they look awesome. Check it out below:

Taking a hint from Carol’s blog, here’s a little game.

If you want to play, follow these direction…

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, if it is recent or years old, silly or serious–anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.

So tonight we went as a family to Wal-Mart (to return Buster’s new glasses, which is another story altogether) and I’m really glad we went. Why was I so glad?
