If there was a talking doll of me it would say,”Tyler, get off the freak’n computer!” So, naturally I would never go on the computer once Tyler just got off of it. It’s like chit chatting to the enemy. I started feeling like there was this cool internet world that I was clueless about. My 3 year old daughter knows more about the computer then I do. Hello, I ‘m a idiot. So, internet world I do exist and I’m here to stay.Oh, by the way this is Marylynn and not Tyler if you didn’t catch that.

Pumpkin Patch!

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

Last Saturday, we took the kids to a little pumpkin patch about 10 minutes away from our home. It was pretty fun. There was a LOT of people there and lots of fun things to do. Anyhow, here’s the pictures.

This is Cricket saying “No, Daddy, I want a candy apple from over there.”

Cydney’s Birthday Party

Sunday, October 14th, 2007

On Friday, Marylynn finally went to PA and used the gift card I got for her at the Spa at Hotel Hershey. So while she was taking a bath in Hot Cocoa, I was wrestling with the kids AND trying to “work at home”. It’s fine, though. It was her Mother’s Day present and she darn well deserved it! Plus she came home smelling all like fake chocolate pencils which was very very nice.

So that evening, I got a late invite to our friend Cydney’s 30th birthday party. With help from the Lymans (and their car seats), we got to join in on the festivities. It was a loads of fun and I happened to bring my camera so I can bore you with pictures!

Buster’s Goose Egg

Sunday, October 14th, 2007

Last Thursday night, Buster was getting hyper and running around in circles and tripped over his shoes. He fell headfirst into the bottom corner of our couch HARD. He laid on the floor and I ran over to get him. By the time I turned him over, his head had already swelled to this size:

Pumpkin carving!

Sunday, October 7th, 2007

So this weekend, we bit the bullet and got a new digital camera… it’s very nice for what we paid, and it’s blogworthy in its own right… but that’s not what this post is about. When we got home, we put Buster down for a nap and Cricket and i decided to carve us some pumpkins!

Finally it’s here! The Director’s Cut Special 12th Anniversary Edition of MOOT LOCAL!

What is “Moot Local” you ask? Only the biggest groundbreaking achievement in american cinema since the introduction of “talkies”! Ok, well maybe not THAT great, but at least it’s better than The Matrix (not that that’s saying much.. OK, that’s just my opinion…)

Actually, Moot Local is a short student film I made for my high school film class back 1995 in Bountiful, Utah. It’s about a girl who gets stuck in a the city and has to find her way back home… hilarity insues.

I digitized it a couple years back and have been recutting it, color correcting it, fixing the soundtrack, etc. in my free time. I finally finished it to where I’m happy with it, and so here it is, for your viewing pleasure.

And now you can finally enjoy the deluxe george-lucas-rewriting-history-star-wars-edition of my masterpiece, “Moot Local”

For those of you keeping track, I shaved my head and my beard. I feel much better now, thank you. Now get back to work.

In other news, ever feel like you’ve been cheated?

Buster’s 2nd Birthday Party – Pics + Video!

Monday, October 1st, 2007

Ok, I know very well that Buster turned 2 almost a month ago (September 5th for all of you who are taking notes), but we weren’t able to have a little party for him until last week (that is, if you’re not counting the joint birthday party we had with Bruce at the Hoke’s house in Cali back in August). It wasn’t anything huge or extravagant. No bouncy house. No silver catering trays. No ice sculptures or imported swans from Italy. Just a little visit from the JJ Barnums and the CK Hesses from the PA and a little Chuck E. Cheese. OK? that’s enough abbreviations for now.
