So I just jumped on the bandwagon of podcasting and I’m super excited! I just uploaded episode #1 of “POGBLAST!” (which is a combination of “pigbat” and “podcast”, it’s not a podcast about pogs by any means.). It’s basically an on-going mixtape, as if I had an hour long radio show playing whatever tickles my fancy. I hope to introduce listeners to new bands and obscure (but great) songs by bands they may already know. Every week or so I’ll upload a new show for you to download and listen to it on your computer or iPod! Super easy and fun. You can subscibe to it from directly from iTunes (reccomended) or at my POGBLAST! page at Pod-o-matic.

Cricket’s first haircut!

Monday, April 16th, 2007

So yesterday, we decided Cricket’s hair was getting rather unruly and it was about time for a haircut. We were really afraid of cutting off her famous curls, but when she looks like a cavewoman half of the time, what’s more important? So we took her down to a really fun kids’ hair salon called Snip-its here in Princeton. They were great with her and she was really good for them. Here’s the pictures.

The Happening – NYC

Monday, April 16th, 2007

Last Thursday night, I got to go to The Happening in NYC, for which Virgin Mobile was one of the sponsors. It was a really cool gathering of art, music and hipsters. It was like I was back at RVCA all over again. In fact I saw Brad Blankenship (formerly of Paul Frank Industries) there and Alex Knost (for a split second, but didn’t get a chance to talk to him.) I was sad I had to miss Matt Costa, who was playing the night after, because he’s one of the nicest guys ever. Cheers to you, Matt!

Anyhow, here are some pictures that are sure to astound you and overwhelm you with awe and wonder.

Artsy-fartsy show full of hoity-toity city folk and no good surfing hippies!
