I’ve got a bunch of random photos and I just want to dump them onto the blog for friends and family to see. It takes me a long time to write elaborate stories and “clever” commentary for all of them, so I’ve started PhotoDump. So I can just dump photos on the blog without the high expectations. Here’s a few pictures of Cricket in her swim class at the YMCA.
So last night was a big night that I’d been looking forward to for weeks! The Aggrolites were set to play in Trenton of all places (about 15 minutes down the road from here) and I was so amped. I love those guys and I had so much fun touring with them last summer. I gave Brian the heads up that I was coming and was so excited. I haven’t been to a show since I’ve been out here on the east coast, and seeing them again would make me feel a bit more at home. I was also looking forward to seeing The Hub City Stompers who were opening. I had heard about them back home and it was set to be a great night.
Then the weather turned sour. We went from sunny mid sixties to rain to icy sleet to frozen rain over night. We had the kids playing on the patio on thursday (I’ll post pics of that soon), and I took this out my bedroom window the next day:
Every year, Marylynn wants to make a big deal of St. Patrick’s Day, but it never really happens. So this year, we wanted to make it realy fun for Cricket and Buster.
We started to hype it up for Cricket the past few days, telling her all about leprechauns, shamrocks, pots of gold, etc. and she was loving it. So last night after my adventure in Trenton (I’ll post about that later) I swung by ShopRite and got a bunch of green items and we decorated our dining area like this:
So somehow the stylesheets got deleted for our blog a few days ago, and I’ve been meaning to fix it. I think something got screwy when I implemented a plugin that allows for YouTube videos to be embedded into the blog. Luckily I got that to work AND I finally finished fixing the look of this here blog. It’s even better than before!
If that wasn’t good enough news, I got my camera back from being fixed (THANKS JOHN!!) so I’ve been taking a bunch of pictures. Therefore, I’ve got a TON of entries I’m going to be adding here very very soon.
We like to have a lot of fun with photobooth (obviously), so I have lots of pictures that I haven’t uploaded yet. So here’s a little group that Cricket and I did last month. We were making different mood faces. It was fun.

I just found out that my remix of the Shawshank Redemption was honored by Trailer Spy in their list of the “Top 15 Best Trailer Remixes of All Time”! I made it all the way up to #5! I feel very honored because I just did it on a whim (granted, it took me almost a year in my free time) and it was placed over some of my favorites trailers (i.e. Jaws, Mary Poppins, Back to the Future).
Here’ the full list”
And here’s a link to my Redeeming Shawshank trailer (because posting youtube videos in this blog gets all tweaky)
So yesterday I took Cricket to her swimming class at the YMCA. It was lots of fun. She’s a great swimmer and between that and her recent potty training, I’ve been really proud of her.
So afterwards we all hopped in the car and took a trip down to Elizabethtown to hang out with the John Barnum clan. I luckily had my laptop with me and it has been serving multi purposes as not only as a computer, but as a camera. I’ve been using Photobooth as a substitute until my real digital camera gets fixed. See, my powerbook has a built-in webcam that can take stills. it’s great. So here’s some of the highlites.
We drove down in our van and it took about 2 hours. It really flew by. The kids watched Dumbo and Alice in Wonderland. It was fun.

So we got a new scanner/printer/copier thing today. It’s really nice and we got it for a good price at a CompUSA that’s closing down near us. Check it out.
I’m super excited because we can now scan old photos and I can create more artwork. That means more content for YOU, the reader, to enjoy. You’re very welcome.
